Café-restaurant Wille offers delicious moments in cosy, atmospheric surroundings, plus a beautiful terrace with a park view.

We are a charming, atmospheric restaurant-café in Äänekoski’s most beautiful wooden house, right in the centre. Towards the end of the week we open as an evening restaurant, serving à la carte dishes. On weekends we also serve the popular Willen wohvelibuffet. New on Thursdays and Fridays: Willen walmiit takeaway, which you can order via the Willen walmiit form. On festive days, such as Vappu and Mother’s Day, we set lovely menus.

And in summer we have the sunniest terrace in town!

Wille is named after the building’s developer, Wilhelm ”Wille” Rutanen. Rutanen was known as a culture-minded merchant who worked tirelessly to develop his home region. The house, built in the 1890s, has been closely connected to the municipality of Äänekoski in many ways and has been known, among other things, as Kuntala, a furniture store, and the city museum.
