Harbors and self-guided stopovers – The charm of freedom

Tips for wild parking – where can you stay overnight legally?

In the Äänekoski area there are also several wild parking spots where overnighting is allowed and you don’t need to pay for it. For example, on the shores of Keitele there are peaceful places, such as located in Konginkangas Pohjoishiekan uimaranta or the areas around Kapeenkoski, where you can spend the night in the heart of nature, as long as you respect Everyman’s rights and good etiquette. Please remember that for longer stays you will always need the landowner’s permission or an official campsite.
