La Kala -Ooppera (Keski-Suomen Kamariooppera)
La Kala -ooppera operates in Sumiainen, in the heart of Finland, between two lakes, in the most beautiful part of Keski-Suomi. The acoustically superb opera seats 100 people. Keski-Suomen Kamariooppera operates from La Kala -ooppera. In addition to opera, La Kala presents a wide range of musicals, jazz, evergreen classics, church music, contemporary music, and rock. La Kala is known for excellent quality, both musically and visually.
La Kala was selected by YLE's travel program Egenland as one of the five most interesting travel destinations. Egenland also highlighted the lovely village of Sumiainen, and especially our dear partner, the friendly, old-fashioned-style Kahvila Korppu, as well as Camping Sumiainen.
La Kala has a full liquor license and can therefore also host private events and celebrations, offering entertainment, menus, and festive drinks tailored to the client's wishes.
