There's still time -  Teatteri Eurooppa Neljä's splendid show at Kartano Kievari

Teatteri Eurooppa Neljä’s summer theatre is a welcome and well-liked summer guest in Äänekoski. At Kievarin Kesäteatteri  in Hietama, Äänekoski, performing again this year TE4 celebrates its 30th anniversary, and in its honor the stage sparkles with founding member Kunto Ojansivu and long-time TE4 members Satu Säävälä and Erkki Teittinen. This trio is familiar from Joulukalenteri, at least to families with children:  Tonttu Toljanteri, Joulumuori and Viänänen. In other roles you’ll see Jyri Ojansivu, Neija Välilä, Maiju Jokinen and Paavo Honkimäki.

"Mies joka tiesi liikaa" tells about the theatre’s early days, and over 30 years there have been productions, successes, failures and lots of laughter.  Music is again an important part of the show, and the viewer will at times wipe away tears of laughter as well as of emotion.

At this time of the summer, only the atmospheric night performances remain, which are especially fine, and there are only two of them! The night performances start at 22:00, and in the darkening evening the carefully planned light show and the wistfulness of the final performances make the show different: even if you’ve already seen one performance, a night performance feels like a different one. Let me still quote my daughter (she helped out the year before last) "This, if anything, is worth seeing — an unforgettable experience!"
