Kalajärvi Birdwatching Tower
A cozy spot for birdwatching and enjoying nature!
Kalajärvi is a bird-rich lake that offers visitors a pleasant place to spot birds and enjoy the outdoors. It is about 4 km from the Sumiainen village centre and is easy to reach on foot. The route to the tower first follows the edge of a field; when the forest begins, boardwalks lead you the rest of the way. The tower stands at the far side of the forest, with fine views over the lake and its diverse birdlife.
The Kalajärvi area provides a peaceful setting to enjoy natural beauty and observe birds in their natural habitat. Take care along the route, especially on the boardwalks; it is well marked and safe. The Kalajärvi birdwatching tower welcomes visitors to experience the peace and diversity of nature.
